Intel Open Source Technology
Center
|
Kevin currently works in Intel Open Source Technology Center. He joined
Intel in 2003 after getting communication Master Degree from University of
Electronic and Scientific Technology of China. In 2004, Kevin joined a great
team to develop a virtual machine monitor prototype based on Intel's
virtualization technology on Itanium processor (VT-i). Inspired by the
bright future of virtualization, he then joined xen/ia64 development from
2005. He and his colleagues first introduced the support of Intel VT-i
technology into the xen/ia64, and thus allows unmodified domain to be
supported on IA64 platforms. He also played an important role in other
xen/ia64 aspects, including multiple domain support, architecture design of
xenlinux and also the stability, tightly co-working with the community. Now
Kevin is enjoying the art of open source virtualization in Shanghai, China.
