Jose Renato Santos, HP Labs
|
Jose Renato Santos is a principal research scientist at HP Labs. Renato was born and raised in Brazil. He came to the US for his graduate studies and
received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA in 1998. He joined HP Labs in 2000, where he is currently a member of the Intelligent Infrastructure Lab.
His research interests include virtualization, operating systems, networking, I/O architecture, and performance analysis. He was a key contributor to
the development of XenOprofile, which enables system wide performance profiling in Xen using hardware performance counters. He also contributed to
performance analysis and improvements of Xen network para-virtualized drivers. |
