Xen Hypervisors
HUAWEI UVP:
HUAWEI UVP (Unified Virtualization Platform) is a general and open virtualization platform to
establish enterprise-class data center. UVP is a high performance, high SLA, high reliability and
secure virtualization solution by providing business oriented optimization, elastic virtual
resource management and open business APIs. UVP not only reduces data center cost, but also
provides business agility. UVP is based on open source Xen.
OracleVM:
Oracle VM is a xen-based server virtualization product released by
Oracle. This is a general purpose solution with a heavy focus on
high-end enterprise production databases, application servers and
applications. Oracle VM server is freely available and fully open
source, Oracle VM manager is freely available. Support is provided
through a subscription model per server.
XenServer:
Citrix XenServer is
the only enterprise-class, cloud-proven virtualization platform that
delivers the critical features of live migration and centralized
multi-server management at no cost. XenServer
is an open and powerful server virtualization solution that radically
reduces datacenter costs by transforming static and complex datacenter
environments into more dynamic, easy to manage IT service delivery centers.
XenServer is built from open source Xen
and XCP.
Virtual Desktop Solutions
XenClient:
Citrix XenClient extends the performance, flexibility and security of desktop
virtualization to mobile users - and even lets them run multiple virtual desktops
on a single laptop - while providing effective control for IT over data protection
and desktop image management.
XenClient XT:
Citrix XenClient XT is a variant of XenClient that makes use of Xen's advanced
security and isolation features and is designed for highly regulated industries.
It delivers Extreme Desktop Isolation (it augments the XenClient hypervisor with
hardened components and a unique new network isolation architecture that allows
users to run multiple securely isolated local virtual desktops in separate security
domains and completely isolated networks), Extreme Security (it provides hardware-assisted
security that leverages security capabilities in the Intel Core vPro platform),
Extreme Performance (it is capable of running the most graphically and computationally
demanding desktop environments without compromise) and Multi-level Desktop Consolidation
(it allows customers to run a large number of securely isolated desktop computing
environments on a single physical system).
XenDesktop:
Citrix XenDesktop is a
desktop virtualization solution that transforms Windows desktops and
applications into an on-demand service available to any user, anywhere,
on any device. With XenDesktop, you can securely deliver
individual Windows, web and SaaS applications, or full virtual desktops,
to PCs, Macs, tablets, smartphones, laptops and thin clients - all with a
high-definition user experience.
Management
Eucalyptus:
Eucalyptus is an open source on-premise Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud software
platform that leverages existing compute, storage, and network resources to create
scalable, secure enterprise-grade clouds.
ConVirt
Enterprise: ConVirt Enterprise extends ConVirt
Open Source with the advanced automation and scalability features
necessary for running large-scale or mission-critical virtualized
environments. ConVirt Enterprise allows you to manage thousands of hosts
and virtual machines in a highly scalable and secure fashion with
enterprise-grade security and advanced alerting and notification
capabilities. ConVirt Enterprise Cloud enables you to manage your
virtualized data center and enterprise cloud
built on Xen from a single console.
Cloud Orchestration & Management
CA AppLogic:
Imagine building a cloud computing environment in just hours, including the
features needed to operate and manage the cloud. You can tap into this
reality with CA AppLogic, a turn-key cloud computing solution for enterprises
and service providers. CA AppLogic cloud management console solution will help you
eliminate the binding of software to hardware through the use of virtual
appliances, removing the major obstacle in accessing true cloud computing
technology. If you're wondering if it's worth investing in a cloud management
console at this stage of the game, here are some great reasons to do so.
ConVirt Enterprise Cloud:
ConVirt Enterprise Cloud enables you to manage your virtualized
data center and enterprise cloud built on Xen from a single console.
OnApp Cloud Platform:
OnApp is a complete cloud deployment and management platform designed
for hosts and other service providers. Using OnApp, any provider can
build a fully-featured cloud service, quickly and at very low cost, and
compete with the world's largest cloud providers. The OnApp platform is
hypervisor agnostic, and makes full use of Xen hypervisor technology to
ensure the highest levels of resilience and scalability for cloud
services. An estimated 1 in 3 of the world's public clouds are now
powered by OnApp.
Suse Cloud:
For deploying and managing enterprise-ready private cloud infrastructure and services
SUSE offers SUSE Cloud. SUSE Cloud is an open source software solution based on the
OpenStack, Xen and KVM projects that provides the fundamental capabilities for enterprises to
deploy an Infrastructure-as-a-Service private cloud.
Other
